Made by Danial Conte, using shiraz vines planted by the Conte family in 1980.
This single vineyard estate grown Shiraz is full bodied and easily approachable. With aroma and flavour of spiced black fruits and dark mocha chocolate. It is powerful and flavoursome, yet soft, rich and round from start to finish. Part maturation in French oak emphasis vanilla and cedar spice characters.
Using minimal intervention techniques, the fruit was harvested just after sunrise, semi crushed and open fermented for 7 days. 24 month maturation and use of French oak has allowed characters to integrate and soften before bottling.
