2011 ‘Primrose Lane’ Chardonnay, Gold Medal

Judges Tasting Notes: Mid straw yellow with bright silver glints. Ripe stone fruits on the nose, a whiff of smoked bacon and roasting nuts. Very clean and pure in the mouth, this wine has minerality and then some. A cascade of flavours, rich without heaviness, oak so well integrated it is only another layer, with a cracking bite on the finish.
