Made by Danial Conte, using vines planted by the Conte family in 1980.
This estate grown shiraz is medium to full bodied and easily approachable, with aroma and flavour of black fruits and dark chocolate.
It is nutty, soft, rich and round from start to finish, with a long smooth ending.
Part maturation in French oak emphasises hazelnut, vanillin and toasty character.

Vinification
Using minimal intervention techniques, the fruit was harvested just after sunrise, semi crushed and open fermented for 7 days. 24 month maturation and use of French oak has allowed characters to integrate and soften before bottling.
